Greetings, I'd like to make an illustration in regard to the writing of a blog. I try to make it interesting to every reader, even those who may not be hot rod hobbyists. So, it takes me a few minutes to sit quietly and gather my thoughts and allow inspiration to overtake me.
Just a few minutes ago I was doing just that; sitting quietly and hearing the words forming in my mind. As topics and ideas began to clarify and the miracle of the human mind was becoming most evident, my wife of 28 years and mother of my five children called out to me from the next room, "Doug, if you see Skylar before I do, be sure to tell him to clean out that cat box upstairs in the apartment bathroom."
The miracle of the human mind descended to become the mundane of mixed species cohabitation. I was leveled.
It took me a few minutes to recover and again begin to ascend to the creative intellectual plateau from where I'd just been plucked. Then suddenly: "I'm afraid it's going to go into the walls and we'll never be able to get the smell out". Wham! The jolt from one sphere to another was almost tangible.
Okay, I'm back on track now. My sweet wife has left the room and I'm composed. I wanted to share this little repair tip with you: re-using sheet metal valve covers.
Oops! I'll have to come back to it a little later, my wife is back and I think she may be interested in continuing our previous, stimulating conversation.
