Greetings!
I've been on the road lately and came back with some prizes. The first prize is a new son-in-law: Adam, who married my lovely daughter Haley on the 14th of March in the brand new Gilbert Arizona temple.

As it was explained to me; I get to keep the daughter and I add the son. He's a fireman from Mesa, and after spending some time with him and his parents I've decided that they're keepers. I learned that Keith, the father of the groom is involved with our missle defense program and is a pretty smart guy. His wife Judi is delightful and put on a Pretty Potent Party the evening of the wedding.

I also picked up the Harley Davidson Sportster engine I purchased for my friend/brother, Luis from Madrid, Spain and brought it back home with me. I checked around on Craigslist and located a second engine that is nearly identical to the first, just not as complete. One is an '86 and the other is an '89.
They're both in the same generation and as far as I can tell their parts are interchangeable. The second engine is barely more than a parts engine, actually a basket case with parts in a large blue tub. It will help me complete Luis' engine and if there's enough left to make a second one, I'll put something together for the next customer.

On the way home we stopped for the night to visit my daughter in Twin Falls Idaho. It was an extremely stormy night and the wind howled all night long. The next morning it was still blowing as we took off. There was snow flurries around the temple and the wind pushed us from lane to lane.
I think one of the reasons we were as stable as we were, in the minivan we rented, is because I stowed the two Harleys low in the back of the van. Our center of gravity was correspondingly low and made us more stable. The news reported that a short time later a truck crossed the same bridge going into Twin Falls and was blown completely over. Check out this unbelievable video:
